The Last Song & Nicholas Sparks

I finished this both maybe a month ago. This book is an amazing book. Nicholas Sparks has definitely proved me wrong. That men can actually feel something. This is definitely his vocation at life and is such a brilliant man/author. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a romantic/heart-filled/bitter-sweet novel. I wish that this was a sequel but, unfortunately it isn't. His books, are absolutely incredible. He has to be on the Top ten authors of all time, next to Shakespeare.
This book is just a book that will not allow you to put it down. I know for a fact that some men do cry when reading these books and watching the movies that resemble the books. Basically what I'm getting at is :READ NICHOLAS SPARKS' BOOKS IN GENERAL!

Books

Odd topic, but when i say books i dont mean books in general. I mean I want to write books, I like the idea of writing and I think that this new inspiration i got today -well technically, yesterday- was just incredible. I absolutely am up for the challenge. Especially since its from a boys perspective. I really hope I can finally, complete a book for once. Well I already have the summary for it:


"Tyler's been having dreams, and doesn't know what it means. He is content with his life, and doesn't think anything can change. He discovers uncertain qualities of himself the he never encountered. It takes one day for him to realize an important message. He just doesn't understand the concept. Will he change himself in order to save more than just his life?"

Luke 9:22-27 [King James Version]

Materialistic items have us brainwashed, thinking we need them. Basically, this reading means that if we were asked to give up our materialistic items in trade for Heaven, would you give your items away? Well, would you? Honestly, if you were asked this question what would you do? It's so easy to say 'I'll give them up.' but, in the actual situation, would you?

Charlemagne was the King of the Franks, and the ruler of Northern Europe. He was a great example of a follower of Christ and a servant leader. His main goal was for a common experience for ALL Christians. Charlemagne declared Latin to be the official language of the mass. Although it is still the official language, it is not used as frequently in other countries such as the Rome. You see after he died things became, lets just say "difficult". But before he died, many citizens knew him as a man who catered to the crippled and the poor. In A.D. 768, He built a beautiful Cathedral at Aachen -which is now present-day Germany-, where he is now buried. After he died in A.D. 814, his empire was divided among weak kings. This began the beginning of the conflict between kings and Popes. This has lasted for centuries.

In circulation with this, civil laws and public authority SHOULD promote virtue, equality, justice, freedom, and the common good within the moral order that was established by God.

Finally, I wanted to inform you that the reason I wrote this blog was basically because, well, I've noticed in many people -including myself- that a majority of us have been separating from God. And when this happens, I believe that's when the Devil's work starts to appear. And this I dislike very much. I really hope that this touches closely to your heart and it'll be a wake-up call to many people.

Volleyball

Unfortunately, tomorrow withholds our sad day: officially volleyball season is over. Well, today and tomorrow we have a tournament at Incarnate Word High School. We lost the two games. Which we had! I was kind of upset during the game because I dove for the ball and hurt my wrist. It's been a couple of hours since then, and it's still swollen. I hope it is not a blood clot but, well we'll see. Tomorrow is awaiting for me. Must be there at 8:30 AM Game is scheduled for 9AM. Please, just hope that the SJB Mighty eagles win.

Bad Connection.

Once again school is boring. Hmph. But I read like forty pages of a book today. Not including SSR[self-selected reading]. But yeah. This "new" book [well not so new because I bought it last year] it is called Bad Connection//the secret life of Samantha McGregor by Melody Carlson. Well anyways here's the back description:

'Samantha McGregor knows that Kayla Henderson likes to break the rules, considers partying an "extracurricular" activity, and can't stand her parents. Fine. That's Kayla's thing. Now doesn't that sound intriguing? It does to me! Oh my goodness, this book is definitely sci-fi all the way. And that is very odd for me to like sci-fi I usually read the more unusual stuff [ suicide, drugs, death, anorexia, romance, ext.].

I will guarantee you if the description does not enlighten you about wanting to know what happen to Samantha or Kayla then excuse my impudent language but your really stupid. Just kidding but, seriously this book is such a page-turner/.

Just Ranting.

Okay this is just a rant. For no reason in particular. That's Random Me for you.
Without screwing up on anything is impossible. Who said Vandgo never messed up a now forty million dollar painting? Doing something is impossible to anyone living on earth. God is the only one who contains perfection. I'm not solipsistic, at times I may be but not 24/7. This must be so freaking hard to actually try to do something nice for someone and they don't appreciate a hundredth of the gift. This sucks. If "they" would've just appreciated something nice I wouldn't be so mad.That's the end of the 1st topic.

Next Topic.
People always trying to change themselves and others. Honestly I think they overwrought a bit about their weight, the person's personality, excreta excreta. What is it with our generation..I know I know that sounds kinda odd coming from a soon to be eighth grader..who cares maybe I act more mature than my actual age. It's just if we always think about ourselves as too skinny or too fat.I mean honestly who cares!? Especially makeup! OH MY GOSH... dreading the days I see girls my age and women who are maybe around the age of thirty still young and beautiful..wearing tons of gallons of makeup. A little bit of makeup is okay but tons of it is gross. Like this girl in the picture, yuck!
Okay well especially women shouldn't wear too much makeup it's disgusting for one. For two, it's just hiding your true beauty. Back to weight. If you honestly think that your ugly because of your stomach or maybe you have a double chin, cellulite, or big thighs, it doesn't matter. Your great personality will make you more beautiful than ever seen before. It's not about if you have more than enough on your body,it's okay. Alot of people know the feeling. I know I do. I mean it doesn't bother me anymore it's okay if you want to lose weight because you want to feel more confident but, if it's just to impress some one, I honestly would tell you it's not even worth it. If you want to be healthier go ahead I encourage you. Just do it for the right reason not for the wrongs. I finally figured that out today or..? Technically Yesterday. When I wore a bikini when I thought I looked terrible in everyone [friends and family] said that it looked good on me. I believed them. Then finally I wasn't covering my stomach. It hit me I'm not going to let my stomach get in the way of my happiness.
Here's a plus size model. She doesn't look ashamed of her body..and in my Pov. She doesn't even look like a Plus Size Model.


And for the next model and none offense intended to her but this is what a lot of people want to look like? Honestly? I mean I wouldn't even want to look similar to that. Bulimia and Anorexia are not a good thing to flaunt in my book. If you like that then be my guest look for someone like this model.

This is a reply to Ali Says Blog. I totally agree with you. A lot of stores are starting to do this. You could be diagnosed as Anorexic or Bulimia and they could be one of the most beautiful models in the world. I know I'm young. Thirteen. But infact sometimes at our age it does occur to us that we have to be like this or like that. Honestly I always and do do that but, I'm not anymore. Yeah, It's okay to want to be fit but, to starve yourself to be like a super thin model. Sometimes it's not healthy. It's weird how we all think we need to work out. Its always you have to change your body to fit the dress not to find a dress that fits you without changing your body type. We should be happy about our body if we're over weight. I agree with you absolutely.

Percy Jackson & The Olympians.

Okay. My and my friends and cousins are so excited for The Lightning Thief Movie. I was a little disappointed that they [the casting directors] weren't doing an open casting to new actors/actresses. I was trying to find someway I could audition. Then I got the news. Of course this was brought to my attention months ago but, I'm still alittle upset but, then again they did pick good actors/actresses. Some of my friends were disappointed at who they picked for Percy, Annabeth, and Grover. Honestly, I pictured Percy slightly different but, other than what I imagined he fits the part in my book, I love who they picked for Grover. Annabeth [who they picked to play her] was totally off my book -not to be impudent or anything-but, nothing similar to what I imagined but, I can't argue I just hope she does great in the movie. I love Rick Riordan's Books. I actually have the first three signed, hopefully I can get the other's one's signed. Let's hope he does another signing. Good thing it won't be too hard to get to where he's signing.
I live in same city! I can't wait to see if he writes any new books -nonrelating or relating to Percy Jackson. Well I'll talk to you later. :]

Heartsick

OH MY GOODNESS! All of you people need to read this book I'm like half way through with it. But, it's absolutely addicting. It's about a serial killer on the loose killing school girls. And one of the detective's (Archie) has been a victim too. I don't wanna spoil the whole book for yall. Cause' knowing me I spoil everything. I'd probably go on -on about this novel for days but, I'm really hungry. So, just read the back description and you'll already want to read the book. =]

Freedom Writers

I started reading the freedom writers diary. So far it's a great book, I can't relate too much on how they live life and their personality. I mean their life, it's basiclly a race on race war. I don't understand how so many people can just stand there and shoot at someone without even having an actual reason beside "I can't let him stand there in front of me when he wanted to shoot me too." or "He's blahblahblah race they think they can act all bad in front of me.". It's wrong. I mean I couldn't stand there and watch my best frined die in front of me. It's sad how people could be so angry at someone just by their color of skin. I would never want to stoop to that level of violence.

The Lightning Thief.

I haven't talked in awhile. I've known about the movie being filmed but I didn't think they'd figure this much creativity would be put into it. I just recently figured out two of the official casting actors.

That's all I know but, I really like love this book. The author's awesome. He's a favorite of mine. But, honestly if you didn't already know about this book, now you know. you don't have to. cause' it's kinda a fourth grade book. but yeah, i loved it. so go ahead. =]

Stuff to Do In Walmart! Ah!

1. Get 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they aren't looking.

2. Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.

3. Make a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the rest rooms.

4. Walk up to an employee and tell him/her in an official tone,
" 'Code 3' in housewares".... and see what happens.

5. Go the Service Desk and ask to put a bag of M&M's on lay away.

6. Move a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.

7. Set up a tent in the camping department and tell other shoppers you'll invite them in if they'll bring pillows from the bedding department.

8. When a clerk asks if they can help you, begin to cry and ask, "Why can't you people just leave me alone?"

9. Look right into the security camera; & use it as a mirror, and pick your nose.

10. While handling guns in the hunting department, ask the clerk if he knows where the anti - depressants are.

11. Dart around the store suspiciously loudly humming the "Mission Impossible" theme.

12. In the auto department, practice your "Madonna look" using different size funnels.

13. Hide in a clothing rack and when people browse through, say "PICK ME!" "PICK ME!"

14. When an announcement comes over the loud speaker, assume the fetal position and scream..
"NO! NO! It's those voices again!!!!"

15. Go into a fitting room and shut the door and wait a while; and then yell, very loudly, "There is no toilet paper in here!

16. Get several bouncy balls and throw them down an aisle shouting "go, pikachu, go!"

PSIA

I've been chosen to participate in PSIA. I forgot the actual words representing PSIA. Sorry. I've been chosen to do on-set drawing. I can't wait. Last year I did the same. Did I mention it's an annual thing? In my POV. I think it's fun. We basicly go to a different city in Texas and compete against other schools. Last year the competition was in Fredicksburg, Tx. This year it's going to be in New Braunfels, Tx. I need to practice on something if you have anything that you would recommend for me to practice on. It would be a great help.

Wars

I'm currently studying on the Holy Wars for my religion classes. It's horrible hoe two countries could go against one another for something that supposed to be holy. God did not make us to fight over a simple thing to agree on. So many families are forced to leave their home. So many deaths are continuing. I can't stand war at all. It's not right - under any circumstances. I can't hate something but I can dislike it a lot. This is one of those things. I really want things on the Earth to change. Not a dramatic change but a slight difference. Pretty Much I just have to say that even probably the problem I'm even talking about this is because my older cousin has made the descion to join the Navy and I know that I can't change his mind. I really am going to miss my older cousin I think I'm just afraid that if he leaves some part of him is going to be gone for quite awhile and I don't want anything to change at all. I'm just going to miss him a lot.

Fashion Design

Fashion Design. A lot of us like to experiment on fashion. I trying to see what new stuff I can create with using clothing that really isn't being used. I really need inspiration. I know not everything is a good thing but, once I see something I'm usually inspired by that person's style. The theme. Or whatever. My style is more of an retro type of classic elegance. I have no idea what to crate for me next design someone help?!
